Hello,
would it be possible to follow instructions on:
https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/latest/developer_manual/basics/front-end/l10n.html#adding-translations
...and gain benefits from work of whole Nextcloud translators community for users of your app please?

Thanks :-)

Sure, if that's the way it shall be done. However, I already have some translations and zero experience with transifex. As this does impact most of the source files, I'd appreciate some experienced hands-on help doing the changes (video call with screen sharing). Volunteers please contact me, see https://privat.seyfarth.de/olav/

Don't worry, it is not rocket science - just open issue on https://github.com/nextcloud/docker-ci/issues/new/choose (choose Request translations). And you will get checklist as for example this: nextcloud/docker-ci#426 and you can ask rakekniven if something is unclear to you. Hope it helps :-)
P.S.: existing translations should be preserved and imported on Transifex - so nothing will be lost

For motivation: This developer at first was not so fond of this approach, than he agreed to try and at the end, was very pleased with result! :-)

I already have some translations and zero experience with transifex.

It seems, that there is possible to import existing translations into new workflow, see:
nextcloud/docker-ci#471

As this does impact most of the source files, I'd appreciate some experienced hands-on help doing the changes

Regarding technical implementation details, @nickvergessen seems to be very kind guide trough this process - just open mentioned issue, try your best to do what is stated there and most importantly - actively communicate and cooperate with Joas. That's it.

I have experience with Transifex and NC projects on there.
You want to steer as far away from that as possible.
In short, use Weblate instead https://hosted.weblate.org/hosting/
I can help set that up if you want :)

@comradekingu Could it be that you are a bit biased as you seem to be a main weblate contributor ;) I'd really love to get some experienced help, thanks for that kind offer. I'd like to talk shortly about transifex vs. weblate, and then implement it in one online session together if possible. I don't have time now, I will contact you and ask when it would suit you.

Happy to talk, now or later.
https://www.transifex.com/user/profile/kingu/ is my account on Transifex. There is years worth of work there.
I actually tried to help Transifex a bit, but they are famously unsupportive.
