Change sensors from on/off to open/closed #402
Comments
Same problem I'm trying to get around. Is this card still maintained? It's been a long time since I've seen a new version. |
Im waiting for this too |
same problem |
Did anyone has a sulution or workaround for this? |

Thanks for your reply. I tried to quickly understand templating and then use the suggested changes but I got absolutely nowhere. Could someone who understand this tell me what I have to change in the following code to make the binary_sensor.shutter_study_ac_3cc56522_ias_zone display open/close and not on/off `type: custom:simple-thermostat |
This is a very small issue. I have zigbee sensors to detect when the shutters on my split systems are open or closed. Previously the status displayed as open/closed but after a recent update they now display as on/off and I cannot find any way to change the behaviour, Please note: The underlying entity is configured to be a door and shows open/closed
