Readme and thus the instructions has link to osgeorel-web which I used to clone but did not get the latest update - should it be updated ? I now have geoforall-web which is where I assume I should add my updates?

I updated it, yes, the link was old. When cloning, use preferably the SSH option, it's more convenient than using the tokens.
