Developing with Visual Studio

  1. If you don't already have Visual Studio, install Visual Studio 2015 or Visual Studio Code by following the instructions here External link icon{: new_window}.

  2. {: download} Download your starter code and extract it into a folder on your hard drive.

  3. Open the project in Visual Studio

    • If using Visual Studio 2015, open the solution file (.sln file) by going to File > Open > Project/Solution.
    • If using Visual Studio Code, open the folder which contains the solution file (.sln file) by going to File > Open.

  4. Once you've modified your code you can redeploy it using the CF or Bluemix CLI tools
