Please confirm the following.

  • I checked the existing issues for duplicate problems
  • I have tried resolving the issue using the support portal
  • I have ensured my Modrinth App installation is up to date

What version of the Modrinth App are you using?

Modrinth App v0.8.9

What operating systems are you seeing the problem on?

Windows

Describe the bug

Attempting to launch a game by pressing "Play" (whether on the page for a modpack or on the mod overview page) does nothing. I just end up seeing "Loading..." forever, like so:
Image

Though it should be said, if I navigate away from this modpack and come back, the button changes back to "Play," like this:
Image

All I did there was click "Home" and then open the modpack view again, without closing the app or anything. Restarting the launcher does nothing useful.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install modpack
  2. Click play
  3. Nothing happens

Expected behavior

  1. Install modpack
  2. Click play
  3. Game launches

Additional context

I'm not having this issue with other launchers, so it's not a Java/Minecraft problem.
