I am using a data grid to display a selection of images for a user to choose from (preview of image shown in separate control) and I have a requirement that when you go back to the page containg the grid of images that if you have previously selected one it should select it in the SelectColumn and scroll the row into view if it isn't initially.
I have it selected in the SelectColumn fine but I can't get the grid to scroll to the correct row. I know there is no method to get a fluent data grid to scroll to a specific row and that it needs to done be in JavaScript; however I can't get that to work.
It seems like when I examine a row (using one of the row callbacks in the grid) that the Id for the row is empty and the contents of the 'element' node is also empty/null; I think this is why I can't get the JavaScript to work as it can't find the element I am telling it to.
Does anyone know how I can get the 'element' node populated for the rows please, as I am hoping that will solve the issue?
Alternatively if you have a different idea of how to make a data grid to scroll to a specific row please let me know as I am open to any ideas :)
