cant link to libboost:locale

Hi, on compiling blensor I receive this error:

boost_locale_wrapper.cpp:(.text+0x1e): undefined reference to `boost::locale::localization_backend_manager::global()'
...
boost_locale_wrapper.cpp:(.text+0x212): undefined reference to `boost::locale::generator::generator()'

However, both packages libboost-locale1.53-dev (boost 1.53) are installed properly.

Is there a compatibility problem with 1.53?
