Group Bypass doesnt bypass mape variable node

When I bypass the groups, I expect everything inside that group to get bypassed.

But it seems the mape variable nodes are ignored.

Then if I manually bypass the mape variable node, when I enable the group the mape variable remains bypassed and then I have to manually re-enable it even though everything else inside the group is enabled.
