Since 5.8.1 Lutris does start correctly

When starting Lutris I am presented with this window

If I attempt to close this window (right click upper right hand purple dot) the main/correct GUI window opens and a 2nd click on the purple dot closes the window.

I can start Lutris either from a desktop shortcut or terminal, same result.
