Students choosing to do the Git lab using Git Bash run into problem when working with the sample Scala code.

What are the problems more specifically? Is it path?

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: Simply typing scala in Git Bash does not work when having installed Scala in Windows as mentioned here https://cs.lth.se/pgk/verktyg. I am not sure whether or not this can be configured to work. A significant number of students also does not understand why this does not work as they have been told that using Git Bash for the lab is an option.
