#### Complying With License Restrictions

If you adapt existing work that was published under a free/open license, you need to make sure that you comply with the specific restrictions laid out in the license. For example, many Creative Commons licenses require to state the work's title, author and license, provide URLs for the work and the license, and indicate whether the work has been modified. Failing any of these can invite [copyleft trolls](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Copyleft_trolling) to send out statutory damages claims.
