Urgent: Please upgrade to http: ^1.0.0 and make this lib Dart 3 compatible

This repo doesn't look to be actively maintained anymore.

Check out https://github.com/dev-juju/flutter_google_maps_webservices instead.

It's a copy of this repo and has upgraded dependencies. Only need to change your pubspec.yaml and your package imports.

If you're also using the flutter_google_places package (which has a similar dependency issue and isn't actively maintained anymore), check out https://pub.dev/packages/google_places_flutter_api as well.

Hi, I had forked this repo long time ago to fix some issues and kept using it directly from my fork waiting for the PR to be merged and sadly it never did. Finally I ended up publishing a version of this package with some of the fixes/improvements I was adding it, you can check it here: google_maps_apis.

Here the PR I made for this package long time ago: #118 to fix an issue with directions api request...
