Where are the completed tasks going after Finish day is clicked?

Is there a way to extract the list of task from the Worklog i.e. not ?
Why the list of the completed tasks is different when prompt from "Week n" (clicking on the arrow) or from the specific day of the week (clicking on the three parallel lines)?

Yes there is, by clicking on the upward right arrow next to the weeks or month:

Why the list of the completed tasks is different when prompt from "Week n" (clicking on the arrow) or from the specific day of the week (clicking on the three parallel lines)?

Upon clicking "Finish Day" all done tasks are moved to the archive/worklog (which are shown in the worklog page). They don't show any more in the regular lists.
