Unable to install wrk2 using brew on Apple Silicon (AArch64 /arm64)

I am using new macbook with apple chip. While trying to install wrk2 using brew I am receiving below error.

Got an Apple M1 now, so I can try to push this forwards.

As a workaround, the intel build still works and you can build it via something like https://noahpeeters.de/posts/apple-silicon/homebrew-setup/

Reminder: this is a HEAD formula that clones the wrk2 repo and tries to build the binary. Longer term, it would be good to make this a bottle.

For now, it looks like wrk2 does not build on Apple Silicon because it vendors luajit 2.0.x giltene/wrk2#104 giltene/wrk2#106 giltene/wrk2#110 giltene/wrk2#111 giltene/wrk2#121 giltene/wrk2#124 giltene/wrk2#128 . That version of luajit doesn't build on Apple Silicon. wrk2 has got various open PRs to update to luajit-2.1.x, but this will be blocked until there is progress with wrk2.
