The m3player is an audio player based on the GStreamer Framework. With the help of the excellent GUPnP Library it provides a UPnP Media Renderer interface so that the player can be controlled by a UPnP Control Point.

Status

The player has been tested in the following environment:

The intention was to run a very lightweight UPnP renderer on an OpenWRT box. Because the Raspberry Pi provides much more power for a lower price it is uncertain whether the renderer is still necessary. As soon as the m3server is working and it turns out that I still need my own renderer I will continue working on this.
