The m3ddity-player (short m3player) is a MP3 audio player based on the GStreamer Framework. With the help of the excellent [http://www.gupnp.org/ GUPnP Library] it provides a UPnP Media Renderer interface so that the player can be controlled by a UPnP Control Point. The main focus is to provide MP3 playing capabilities on a OpenWRT based device.
The player has been tested in the following environment:
- Controller
- HTC Legend (Android 2.2) with UPnPlay
- Player/Renderer
- [11.04](http://www.ubuntu.com Ubuntu) - The development environment is Anjuta under Ubuntu 11.04
