cmt tools crashes when trying to load anything

Hi! been using CMT for about a year now, and I'm used to it crashing every now and then, I didn't mind. But lately, It's been crashing when I try to load an appearance, or after I load up a few poses with no issue, leave gpose, boom crash. It is all up to date, and I even uninstalled and reinstalled it (properly of course!) It's making me super bummed because I love taking photos very much in the game, and CMT Tools have helped.

I hope there's a solution for this, for now, I'll just be sulking in a corner LMAO I screenshotted the error message it gives me before it crashes if it helps! I'm not very tech-savvy, so I hope someone can help haha.

Hi, I've checked CMT's official Discord because I had the same issue and it looks like CMT isn't working properly atm because of 6.1. The "helpdesk" channels are locked with this message :

Its not likely its going to be updated. Its developer has abandoned it, and the last person to push a patch for it was a volunteer.

It is a shame, the new tool, its 'replacement' kind of sucks, it doesn't really come close to having the same usability and functionality. Plus it is extremely laggy and crashy. I have to use 2 other tools now to make up for what amnesiashit lacks.

It's just the soidev mentality, they gotta updoot and deprecate, and so they feel validation from wasting a ton of time remaking a similarly bad tool that fixes none of the problems they set out to fix and adds even more, not to mention ostracizes windows 8.1/8/7 users, we must all suffer for that validation as well.

Cmtool was accidently good.

Honestly i feel this so much... Amnamnesis is so bad in comparison its laughable i cant keep my height and stuff modyfied after teleport and u cant even go over normal max values for things like the tail (which is a great thing for au ra lets be honest vanialla tails are way too short) they really should pedal back and revive CMtool instead :/

I'd like you to remember that height and stuff keeping was a bug in cmtool, there are costumization plugins in xv capable of doing that, you should never reley on un-intended use.

Mind you that we are talking about a tool made out for fun and curiosity from the community to be used by the community, if you are expecting this to be supported as you purchased something then i'm sorry to say you are delusional to say the least.

which tool is it then? costumize+ only lets me impot values from amnamnesis which doesnt have a tail value from waht i see and that is not what i want so not really helpful either and i dont know if theres any other plugin like that? i just want my char looking like its suposed to again

correction on my end there is a tail slider but it has a hard cap at 100
