Oh, this is super exciting. If you could keep me looped into subsequent PRs, I would love that! I speak fluent Japanese as well and would love to be an extra pair of eyes where needed.

@nshki that sounds like a great idea to me. Although I've made a fair amount of progress, I'm sure there are a lot of mistakes too and it is quite a daunting effort. I'll try and see what I can do to make reviewing what I've got more digestible, maybe take it a section at a time. Expect to see some PRs start probably later today.

Hi! I'd love to help if this issue still needs Japanese translations! I've been speaking Japanese ever since I was a kid, and have experience in composing/translating my own projects from English > Japanese and vice versa. :)

@SnailsCode help is welcome and appreciated. I started on this and made a fair amount of progress last year, but things in my life got hectic and I haven't had an opportunity to get back to it so the the branch I was working on is rather far behind the master branch at this point. Maybe a good start would be to get the ja-translations branch rebased? 🤔

@matcha440 Thank you. I hope everything's all set and in order now for you now!

Wasn't too sure what rebasing was, so I did a quick google search on it and stumbled upon this article! Are you saying to do something like this?

$ git checkout ja-translations
$ git rebase master

Sorry for the silly question! Still pretty new to everything. I'm also a bit lost on where to start in the project, too. 😰

Hey @SnailsCode! Not a silly question! Thanks for helping out with this :) Yeah so this branch is on this repo. So you'll want to clone the repository, pull the latest from the master branch, checkout ja-translations, and rebase like you stated above!

Let me know if you need any help! If you haven't already, you should join our contributor community.

Hi @maegatro! Thanks for offering help here. Let's check in with @SnailsCode to see if you'd be able to pick things up.

Hi @maegatro! We would love to finish up these efforts. @matcha440 had made a lot of progress in this branch. It would be great to finish things up! @SnailsCode if you're still interested maybe you two can work together. The more help the better the translations will be :)
