Quick Tip: Modifying the switch characteristic

You might want to modify the switch characteristic in Core.js, whether to change the behavior for the default test accessories or to add new behavior. Making sure that all the code you use in this function is executing asynchronously will make sure that Siri responds right back to you instead of telling you that the devices are taking too long to respond. If Siri is still taking a long time to respond and you are running on a machine with low CPU capacity like an RPi, try to stop other programs that are also using a lot of CPU.
