Create a guide to how to manage open roles and contribute to HfLA role descriptions

Overview

We need to have the job boards posts and role descriptions be uniform across all the community of practice open roles boards.

Action Items

• Grab the instructions from an open roles board
• Write a draft document that tells people how to
  • Figure out which role it aligns with
    • What to do if it does not align
      • Research the tile and job descriptions on linkedin/indeed/etc.
        • Propose change or addition to Civic Opportunity Team
          • If an addition is agreed to be necessary, draft a new role using X Hack for LA template
  • How to Post a volunteer opportunity on a project board (that fits into one of the pre-defined roles)
  • How to Remove a volunteer opportunity

• Each CoP individual template
• Each CoP to setup a drive folder for application submission
• PM team for review
• Link to our Repo's Issue # for application submission

slack the community of practice lead with the type of change (Add new role title, edit existing title, suggest change to role description) you want and why.
The community of practice lead will vet your request and if it makes immediate sense the role description will be updated. If it needs more discussion you will be invited to the Community of Practice to discuss there, for community review.
If change is accepted by CoP leads then they put in a pull request at https://github.com/hackforla/civic-opportunity/tree/master/roles-1 and create an issue that goes with it, and message the Civic Opp team.
