GMS Google Barcode Scanning API - Android

I'm using the GmsBarcodeScanner and im trying to figure out how to make sure the barcode is scanned within the frame that's on the centre of the screen, there's a frame with google colours, at the moment it scans whatever barcode is in camera view and not within the 4 corners in the center?

why can't we have the option to only detect/scan code which is in the centre frame
