For fields like contact_name, contact_phone, and contact_email when creating an event, consider pre-filling fields with the sponsor info. This might save time since most sponsors are posting their own events. However, it may lead to Sponsors neglecting this, which can serve as a vital tool to ensure communication between Volunteers and the proper organizing party.

For fields like start_date and end_date when creating an opportunity, consider autofilling with the start and end dates of the parent Event. But, there are similar concerns to the autofill proposal for Events, mainly that this field may be neglected. An alternative to consider is there can be more fields made optional and checkboxes next to optional fields.
