So that developers can build functions in JavaScript, thanks.

As per https://fluence.dev/docs/learn/how-it-works#compute-functions-marine

Marine powers Compute Functions, that are executed within single machine similarly to serverless cloud functions. Marine supports Rust and C++ as source languages, but more languages are coming with the development of the WebAssembly standard.

Is there a timeline for other programming languages, especially JavaScript? So that one can write compute functions in JavaScript.

Thanks and regards,
