Fleet version: 4.54.1

Web browser and operating system: Chrome 127.0.6533.100 running on macOS

💥  Actual behavior

Used By field shows blank for Ubuntu Linux instead of showing the Chrome-signed-in user account. It's populated still for macOS and Windows, though.

🧑‍💻  Steps to reproduce

  1. Enroll Ubuntu Linux client in FleetDM
  2. Sign into Google Chrome on the Ubuntu Linux client
  3. Go to the FleetDM web UI
  4. Click on Linux hosts
  5. Scroll through all results and see the Used by field is empty for all clients

Hi @aysiu! Thanks for the detailed description.

I can reproduce the issue on my Ubuntu 22.04.4.
I've opened an issue in macadmins/osquery-extension#56 (which is the extension being used to gather such information). Once we have a fix for it, we'll release a new fleetd version.

UPDATE: This is blocked by macadmins/osquery-extension#57 and then once that's merged we need to update fleetd to use the new version of https://github.com/macadmins/osquery-extension.

Changing Milestone from 4.57.0 to 4.58.0 because the PR in https://github.com/macadmins/osquery-extension is still open.
