Improve tree-building in snapdeals

Initial snap ffi.EncodeUpdate is doing a bunch of writing into temporary destinations, which isn't great, but also isn't necessary.

After supraseal - #69 - lands, we could extend the default build process to include supraseal-TreeR, or modify the one there to work for snap, which should be much, much faster.
