It is very easy to crash the machine and result in skipped steps and possible bad wear to the machine when pressing on the home button in the PC software.

The most likely issues are that the machine/steper controller/homing procedure are not correctly set up.

Even though the machine theoretically can be used like this it is likely bad for the machine itself.

Change title tag to K40B for clarity, as we have 2(3) K40 class machines.
The currently configured unit (that this issue refers to) is labelled K40B.
