Convert to V2 addon format

No plans, solely due to available time to work on it. I would absolutely accept PRs for that, however.

First pass at this. Will need some more work, but wanted to get something up if anyone wanted to push it over the line. My main todos are to clean up some of the CI changes, add a push-dist job so we can reference the add-on directly from GitHub to test in a larger project.
