For me the SEND is the only feature really missing to support my current use cases, so it would be nice to get this officially supported soon!

This is still stalled waiting for someone to merge PRs. I fully intend to merge the work I've done once that happens. The Eclipse IoT PMC has started to make moves to get this project active again, but I don't have any insight into when it will actually happen.
