For NuGet packages I cannot find the documentation that specifies this.
On the one hand, 3.1.X packages still get updates, on the other hand in my netcoreapp3.1 projects I can use 5.X packages.
So my question is
A) are the packages covered by the same LTS policy as the corresponding TargetFramework (meaning I should target 3.1.X packages for netcoreapp3.1)
B) where is this documented so that I can link to it

For .NET it self it's straightforward the support policy is 3.1 is LTS and NET5 is current https://dotnet.microsoft.com/platform/support/policy
