How do I Clean the dotnet/runtime folder structure so I can build successfully?

I had some failures/crashes of the ./Build.cmd script due to files being locked by VS.
Since then I can't run ./Build.cmd. I get the following error:

Build FAILED.

Is there a simple way of Cleaning the environment?

git clean -xdf will clean all untracked items of git.

You may want to keep the .dotnet folder to avoid redownloading sdk.
