Describe the Improvement

Small UX issue with the new global search/command palette. I instinctively go to use that as the search functionality for the collection i'm in (probably because it says "search..")

I imagine this could be a common UX issue for end-users.

Would it make sense to have the ability to "hide" the global search/command palette (and only bring it up with the keystroke) or change the wording to something else?
