I'm closing this because, after doing some digging, I did figure out what I was missing, but I am going to post the answer here in the hope that it will help others. In short, outside of the erroneous usages of the print commands under "func _on_timeline_end():" (mainly because they weren't actually doing anything), there was nothing wrong with that function. The problem was that I needed to add the following line under "func _ready():": Once I did that, everything worked as it should. |

This is probably a dumb question, but since I'm not seeing anything that's helping me in the documentation...
I'm running some simple tests right now, and at the end of my timeline, I'm trying to set it up so that the program automatically quits as well.
I'm closing the timeline using the [end_timeline] command.
Within my main script, I'm defining the following function:
func _on_timeline_end():
print()
Dialogic.timeline_ended.disconnect(_on_timeline_end)
print()
get_tree().Quit()
print()
The print() commands are interspersed in the hope that I can see the process working within the console, but...it seems like the function isn't even being called, as I never see any prints being executed, including even for the timeline end being reached.
Is there some other process I should be using here? I'm running Godot 4.1.2 and Dialogic Alpha 9.
