Unable to login via Google authentication on the latest version

Using the latest version, I am getting this screen after entering my email as requested by the google window:

Is it something you can somehow fix?

Isn't google suggesting that the APP is not considered as safe enough for Google?
From the support you linked:
If an app or site doesn’t meet our security standards, Google might block anyone who’s trying to sign in to your account from it

That's right. Now google considers "electron" unsafe
