  • Salesforce objects: https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.api.meta/api/data_model.htm For comparison, Salesforce's CRM system encompasses nearly 700 standard objects, which map entities and their interactions within the fairly well-defined field of marketing and sales. The dilemma is clear: Creating a ``Salesforce lite'' for a particular universe of knowledge puts us on the one horn of expending massive amounts of effort defining a data architecture. Conversely, a more flexible architecture will not be able to store and recall facts with the specificity we might want, even within a narrow universe.
