Most blog posts have a line at the end reading something like:
Posted in | Tagged | Leave a comment | Edit
Would it be possible to have as one of the position options (next to widget, which in my theme are always in the sidebar, and footer) to add the license there. Something like:
Posted in | Tagged | Leave a comment | Edit | < picture Creative Commons License>
Except where otherwise noted, the content on this site is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
Or as a new line at the bottom of the post:
Posted in | Tagged | Leave a comment | Edit
< picture Creative Commons License> Except where otherwise noted, the content on this site is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
That would be a more subtle way to include the information and use the style of the existing blog.
It would be relatively easy for me to hard code this to my own blog using a child theme. I have never made or changed a plugin, but if you are interested I can see if I can add this to your code.
