Currently I never notice when I get PM attepts without the person pinging me on the channel.

Please add steps about how to reproduce this. I get notifications for all personal messages ― what's the difference here?

  1. /mode yournick +g
  2. be actively talking on channel or query or for some reason just don't look at the server tab.
  3. ask someone to PM you, as you are doing the 2. you don't notice that someone wanted to PM you.
