💡 Summary

Add logging into data scanning processes to establish a running status of progress in data aggregation processes

Motivation and context

It difficult to know how far along the data gathering process takes.

Implementation notes

Introduce quantifiable logging statements to functions that can be picked up by ELK

Acceptance criteria

  • All functionality that takes time to process information or generate reports has quantifiable logging messages
