Hello @mflaxman ,

In the Coinkite store, only the Coldcard Mk4 is available, and reservations can be made for the new Coldcard Q. Both hardware wallets are quite a bit more expensive than the Mk3 used to be: $158 for the Mk4, $200 for the Q.

The Coldcard Mk3 is still available through resellers such as https://www.walletmart.io/product/coldcard-mk3-hardware-wallet/ for $110.

The Mk4 and Q both are NFC-compatible. I'm assuming we don't need/want this feature? From the docs:

The NFC feature is turned off by default and can be rendered unusable — permanently — by cutting a trace on the board. No other functions use the destructible trace.

defaults to OFF, must be enabled in Settings > Hardware On/Off > NFC Sharing

disable forever by cutting trace labeled "NFC", visible in the MicroSD slot.

What is an aspiring 10xer to do? Buy the Mk4 and disable NFC, buy the Mk3 through a reseller and hope for the best, or buy some other hardware wallet (which one?).

Thank you for your advice.
