For now, editing rights are granted by admins on basis of rather limited information: tool name + login name of the requesting person.

More information about the user would be needed to be displayed to make this more straightforwards.

Or we change the granting to e.g. GitHub, with emphasis on being user-friendly.

Hello @veitveit ,
Thanks for maintaining this registry! Does this editing rights system will apply also to the domains?

As part of our consortium, NFDI4Microbiota, I created a domain, but it was still unclear to me where to add collaborators or grant them editing rights to the domain.

Good point, I think we need to use the full editing right system for the domains, too.

We are looking for solutions but I fear this is not trivial.

Would it be enough to make the domain public and add a tag that can be used for the collection?
