As if it weren't obvious, this project has hit the end of the road...

Lack of resources coupled with the multiple changes on Apple's end with regards to Newsstand has rendered the current implementation of this project pretty much obsolete.

If there is anyone that is interested in taking the project over - please feel free to drop an email to [email protected]

Thanks everyone...

Andrew

Hey Andrew, completely understand! Even though it's a little sad.

We're a team of 10 people now managing apps for clients and it just takes a lot of time, resources and money to keep up with everything going on in the space!

We will always have extremely fond memories of Baker and who knows, maybe one day be in a position where we can give back in the form of an open-source offering.

Thanks for all your hard work over the years Andrew!

As one of the original three co-founders, I want to thank you Andrew for taking care of Baker from 2013 to today. I know very well how hard it is to write code and keep up to the expectation of a lovely community as the one that found itself collaborating over Baker Framework.

I'm still proud of the three years from when we released it (Nov 2010) to when (Nov 2013) we handed it to our top contributor at the time, Andrew. I'm sure that between ups and downs, it has been a good ride from 2013 to today.

  • 22 contributors
  • 1,041 commits
  • 15,532 lines of code
  • 1,735 discussions
  • 414 forks

This is how it all started:

And this is a post outlining our vision at the time.
There are also some nice slides.

I don't have much to add on top of my wrap up post years ago, apart for:

Thank you everyone.
