Create Board Post when creating a new catering event

The current workflow requires the catering person to create a separate board post after creating the catering in the database to find & enlist some members. Maybe we can add an automation that creates a board post?

I heard that Discourse offers an API for that. If I can get a short introduction into the inner workings of asciii and a little mentoring I would happily volunteer to implement this. :)
