Some issues / areas for enhancement

Hello,
I had some issues and was considering submitting PRs but wanted to make sure you are accepting them and maintaining this role before I do so.

Can you confirm that this role is still being maintained? I noticed a PR that has been languishing un-responded to for a few months.

Areas for PRs:

• Update distro support for Ubuntu Focal (tested, works)
• Make variable motd_content useful. Currently is present but un-called so nothing happens.
• Make various options tunable, such as the Ansible managed banner.
• Make role no-op by default until you start enabling changes. Currently various motd files are pruned with no recourse or way to turn this off. IMO, a role shouldn't change OS defaults until you start over-riding those defaults with site-specific settings.
