Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We as members, contributors, and leaders pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.

Expected Behavior

We expect all participants in Afet Yönetim Sistemi project to:

  1. Be respectful: Treat all individuals with kindness, empathy, and respect, regardless of their background, identity, or opinions.

  2. Foster inclusivity: Create an environment where all voices are heard and where everyone feels welcome to participate, regardless of their experience level, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, personal appearance, race, ethnicity, age, religion, or nationality.

  3. Collaborate effectively: Work together in a constructive and cooperative manner. Encourage and support each other's contributions.

  4. Value diverse perspectives: Embrace the benefits of different viewpoints and experiences. Be open to feedback and alternative ideas.

  5. Respect differences: Avoid any form of harassment, discrimination, or exclusionary behavior, including but not limited to: offensive comments, personal attacks, sexist, racist, or otherwise discriminatory jokes, intimidation, unwelcome advances, and any form of unwanted attention.

  6. Maintain a safe environment: Refrain from behavior that may cause harm or discomfort to others. If you witness harassment or inappropriate behavior, report it to project maintainers or administrators immediately.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable within Afet Yönetim Sistemi project:

  1. Harassment: Any form of unwelcome behavior, communication, or attention directed at an individual or group that is intimidating, hostile, offensive, or creates a hostile environment.

  2. Discrimination: Treating individuals unfairly or differently based on their personal characteristics, such as race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.

  3. Bullying: Any persistent, aggressive, or abusive behavior aimed at individuals or groups.

  4. Invasion of Privacy: Sharing private or personal information about others without their consent.

  5. Trolling: Deliberately posting inflammatory or offensive comments with the intent to provoke or disrupt discussions.

  6. Unwelcome advances: Inappropriate or unwanted attention, both online and in person.

Enforcement

If you believe someone is violating this Code of Conduct, please report it to the project maintainers or administrators at [contact email or contact information]. All reports will be treated confidentially, and your privacy will be respected. We will review and investigate any reported incidents and take appropriate action, which may include warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans from the project.

Project maintainers and administrators have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject contributions that do not align with this Code of Conduct or to ban temporarily or permanently any contributor for other behaviors they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
