Making Firefox prepend and redirect to:

https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=$WORD_DOCUMENT

When it encounters a Word document e.g.
https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=http://ppd.webconverger.com/2013/kai.doc

Is actually non-trivial to implement according to Mike Kaply.

However this is an important use case as some agencies sadly only publish in Word documents.
