Please could you provide more information on how you managed to get Telegraf running on your EdgeRouter?

I have done a fair amount of Googling and I'm struggling to find any information on how to do this and there don't appear to be any binaries as requested here

I don't run telegraf directly on the ER, though I had tested this previously. If I recall I was able to build MIPS binaries that worked but that was some time ago and I don't remember details.

Instead I use telegraf running on an a different host (Linux or BSD) that uses SNMP to monitor the EdgeRouter.
