Welcome to Silk! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Silk! Discord bot ("Bot"), provided by VelvetThePanda. By using the Bot, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms or our Privacy Policy, you should not use the Bot.
License to Use Bot Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Bot for the purpose of moderating your Discord server. You may not use the Bot for any other purpose without our prior written consent.
Prohibited Conduct You agree that you will not use the Bot for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms or Discord's Community Guidelines. You specifically agree not to:
- Engage in any form of harassment, bullying, or hate speech on your Discord server
- Distribute malware or engage in any other malicious or harmful activity
- Engage in spamming, phishing, or any other form of cyber attack
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Ownership and Intellectual Property
- The Bot, including all content and intellectual property rights therein, are owned by VelvetThePanda or its licensors. You acknowledge that you have no ownership rights in the Bot, and that you may only use the Bot in accordance with these Terms and any additional terms and conditions provided by VelvetThePanda.
Data Collection and Privacy The Bot may collect certain data from your Discord server, including but not limited to user IDs and message content. By using the Bot, you consent to this data collection and acknowledge that we will handle this data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Termination We may terminate or suspend your access to the Bot at any time, without notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to your breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Bot will immediately cease.
Disclaimer of Warranties THE BOT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE BOT WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC NEEDS OR REQUIREMENTS.
Limitation of Liability IN NO EVENT SHALL VELVETTHEPANDA, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE BOT.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the State of Georgia.
Entire Agreement These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and VelvetThePanda and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, with respect to the Bot.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
