Hi,

Would it be possible to add a "page" in the agent where you can review base/mod/Fn/mouse at the same time for planning my keys strategy and memory training.
Or maybe an always on the top miniature view. View that in the future could switch on mod/Fn/mouse press maybe ?
Or just an export button to get them as jpg/svg would be great.

Because right now to get that is a lot of keys, clicks, copy, paste and editing pics. It is the opposite of the regular productivity I'm used to with the uhk ;)

Hi there,

How about displaying the current layer via an overlay (OSD) on the screen when the relevant layer switcher key (Mod, Fn or Mouse) is held? The OSD would only be displayed after a specific delay like 2 seconds, and only if no other keys are held to not be disturbing.

@mondalaci I would love an OSD feature like that. I used the built in macOS overlay to good effect when I got the keyboard, and having one to remember all the other layers would be great for training without having to reopen the agent all the time.

We'll give this a shot eventually. Implementing OSD on all three OSes might turn out to be a huge undertaking in which case we'll simply generate a printable PDF. We'll see how it goes.

@mhantsch What's wrong with the OSD?

@mondalaci nothing wrong. I just also like the export option, for example to print out the layout, or put it into documentation, write about it in a blog, or even share it on reddit... could be PNG, doesn't need to be PDF.

@mhantsch Gotcha, but I think the UHK cloud will be better suited for this purpose.

@mondalaci That's helpful for those who already have an UHK and Agent, isn't it? "A picture says more than a thousand words", they say. So snapping a PNG of an UHK layout and posting it will be helpful to those who are not used to / using Agent yet. So far, I screen grabbed this from Agent, but it's hard to get the same consistent size of the screen grab. I might agree that this is a minority feature wish, though.

Can't wait for this feature. I'm constantly changing layouts and keymaps and playing around with configs to improve overall experience.

Just a printable PDF not enough for me because of frequent remap. But it would be enough for me just to shown current state in agent. I can place a transparent window with onTopReplica of that on Windows.
