Discord code review

Summary

Discord code review event. Learners will start off with a walk through of the project. After which they will get feedback/suggestions by a maintainer(s).

Motivation

By hosting the event, learners will gain the learning experience of walking through their code, and presenting it via voice to others. They will also get feedback on good code practices.

Suggested implementation

  • Learners submit projects.
  • We prepare before the event and create points that can be improved.
  • Learners get on the stage, and walk through their project in 10 minutes.
  • Learners get questioned on specific decisions and they get feedback on the code.

Drawbacks

Are there any drawbacks to this proposal? consider the following:

  • People not showing up after submitting projects.
