search geocoder random error

when using the search bar, commonly (but randomly) the search fails and logs an error in the console. Line 1050 of the Control.Geocoder.js vendor file. due to the sporadic timing i assume it to be a timing issue. delaying the line with a 'setTimeout' function seems to help but not completely fix the issue. setTimeout isn't a proper fix anyway.
