Keyboard not recognized

So, I own a nextime 75. It has the following chips on the PCB:
1x VS11K28A
1x VS12L17A

I believe this is the same or very similar to the normal GMMK. When my keyboard is plugged in and sonix-flasher is open, no device is recognized. What could cause this problem? Is the device just not supported? Could it be an issue with my USB cable?

Hi, it's a year later so I'm sure you've moved on, but as I was looking for support for my GMMK I found some information that probably also applies to your nextime 75.

In the SonixQMK discord channel #redragon on Feb 25, 2024 there was some VS11K28A discussion which said that it is a rebranded CH555. CH555 is in the 8051 family which is unrelated to the Sonix chips that SonixQMK targets. Being from another family means this project doesn't and probably won't ever support the VS11K28A.

There is another QMK fork that targets CH555: https://github.com/vuhuycan/qmk-8051. It doesn't support VS11K28A yet, but the readme lists it as a potential target.

Ah, one of the few time I'm great I have github notifications on.

The fork you linked seems like it could potentially work, I'm not quite sure on how I would reprogram my keyboard using that tho, I've mostly lost all knowledge of QMK after loosing hope about reprograming mine.

Any help reprogramming my keyboard would be greatly appreciated.
